Mae Hong Son
The Enchanting North
STORY
See & Do
Hidden deep in the misty mountains of northern Thailand, Mae Hong Son is a province where time slows down and nature still whispers in the cool morning air. Winding roads curve through endless hills, leading travelers to small towns, hilltop temples, and valleys filled with dreams. It’s a place for those who seek beauty off the beaten path — where every sunrise comes with mist, and every night brings the stars closer.

Pai
The Mountain Playground
Nestled in a lush valley surrounded by rolling hills, Pai is the ultimate backpacker’s hideaway turned bohemian paradise. Once a quiet mountain town, it’s now alive with laughter, live music, and the aroma of good food. The lively Walking Street at night is packed with food stalls, handmade crafts, and travelers swapping stories. When morning comes, head to Santichon Village — a Yunnan Chinese settlement — where the morning mist floats over the rooftops and the scent of tea fills the air. Pai is freedom wrapped in mountain breeze.

Tham Lot Cave
Journey into the Darkness
In Pang Mapha District lies one of Thailand’s most fascinating caves — Tham Lot. To enter, visitors glide along an underground stream on a bamboo raft, guided by lantern light into the heart of a massive limestone cavern. Inside, the echoes of dripping water and the sight of ancient teak coffins create an atmosphere both mysterious and magnificent. Pang Mapha is full of caves, but none quite as awe-inspiring as this one.
